Artist's Comments

Here are the current members of my fish tank.
The green ones are Emerald Barbs (a color morph of the famous Tiger Barbs)
The little blue ones are Neon Tetras
The brown sucker fish are Ottos
The purple one is a betta
The plant itself is an Amazon Sword

I had a lot of fun sort of making these guys more cartoony. I didn't go too far with the Ottos, but they have these little bitty eyes you can barely see, so I left 'em sorta beady. I still plan on buying some Lemon Tetras and Dwarf Goroumis. I will, of course, have pictures of these when they arrive =).
My favorites here are the Emerald Barbs.

Heh heh, we have four aquariums and we used to have tiger barbs years ago but they all died out. At least most of our other fish are still ticking.

Anyway, great pic! I like how you colored it and how you drew the fish.

i remember back in the day when i had a tank full of Neon tetras and black mollys. =D

That's how the Betta is! He just floats around untilt he food falls in his mouth!
