One of the coolest things in allof video game history. This dragon took up the ENTIRE screen!
I've been wanting to draw it for a while, but finally got around to it. I am real happy with the result (It may still need some touch up work to make it PERFECT though...)
Thanks to my friend, TheTeague for working out some kinks with me.
heeey.. there are a few other baddies that have taken over an entire screen and then some even.
i cant think of any besides kraid in super metroid.. two screens tall.
I know theres some other ones....... grr..
..
but..
expressive, simplistic, vivid, .. you have a great style.
micheal...this is super tite man...ok, i thought about what you said the other day...and now that I'm lookin at it....yeah man...the one thing that wouldve made this perfect was illistrator...your an illistrator artist man....You really gotta give it a try man...seriously, cell shading looks so much better is illistrator...although you really seem to keep sharpness in your pixlelated images, but...illistrator man...you would have no problem w/ it...it's made for layering and cell shading....but yeah, anyway...I really like how you put a little eye teaser in this piece....the, second grey stripe is covered up by his back...that really helps the movement of this piece, man....I really like that little spark effect you put around mega man...really good way to play w/ the layers there....good stuff man.
But none of them fly! And I can't think of any that didn't go off the screen. Here you had a fully rendered, free from restrains, and non-mirrored bad guy. Very scary!
(And Super Metroid was SNES)
(And shooters don't count)
Brilliant dragon! I remember this from MM 2. He was kind of a pain but he was cool lookin. I think this is awesome. I love the detail and how it looks on here. It reminds me of a dragon picture I've seen before. The pose that is. Nicely done!
